Charging infrastructure

The use of all your electric vehicles requires an extensive and reliable network of charging systems. Batenburg supplies and installs these as standard and as custom solution.

Whether it concerns a fully equipped distribution station or just the charging unit in the various capacities, careful charging or power charging, we deliver this as standard or as a custom solution.

Our energy-technical solutions are scalable and adapted to the situation. The infrastructure, for instance, will be adapted to the power required, whether it concerns cars, buses or lorries. Thanks to our strict focus, we provide a secure and customer-specific infrastructure between transformer substations and charging stations to the entire E-mobility market.

For one, Batenburg Techniek provides the supply and installation of the energy infrastructure for Qbuzz charging solutions (see video). This is how we are working together towards a 100% electric future for Qbuzz in 2030.

EV charging

Nowadays it can be heard everywhere: clean and economical driving. We want to make Europe as environmentally friendly as possible. One of the ways to achieve this is by realising EV charging. According to the environmental agreement in Europe, we must reduce CO2 emissions. The diesel buses are slowly being replaced by electric buses, and these need to be recharged.

What is EV Charging?

EV Charging stands for Electric Vehicle Charging. A charging station has the necessary energy to charge an electric vehicle. Sparreboom Techniek provides these charging stations for bus transport in the Netherlands. The solutions we offer allow our clients to take the next step in electric transport.  We have several years of experience in the engineering, installation and maintenance of EV Charging infrastructure. Our service organisation provides for fast, professional support and for the performance of preventive maintenance. We are available 24/7 so that our clients can fully focus on electric transport. The charging stations we provide can be divided into two categories:

  • Depot charging
  • In-line charging

What’s the difference?
Depot charging means that the charging station is used for a longer period of time to charge. For instance, for buses travelling longer distances. The buses usually charge all night at a charging station.

In-line charging can usually be found in urban areas. Vehicles constantly drive the same route and at certain times, the vehicle is briefly charged at a charging station, after which it continues on its way. These charging stations are sometimes referred to as opportunity chargers. There are several places where you can quickly charge your vehicle.
